HOW TO APPLY OLIA

Making the most of your Olia hair dye

Before you get started on transforming your look with our Olia hair dye, make sure you read these top tips on making your chosen colour pop.

Remember: Olia can be used by anyone who doesn’t colour their hair, who hasn’t dyed their hair in the last 3 months or longer or who wants to change their current hair colour. Whichever category you fall into, always perform an allergy alert test 48h before use.

What you’ll need to use Olia hair dye

Here are the tools you’ll want to make sure you have around you before you start your Olia application:

1. The Olia developer cream
2. The Olia colourant cream
3. The multi-application conditioner
4. The applicator bottle
5. The pair of gloves
6. An old towel

Step 1: Prepare your colour

First, pour the entire contents of the developer cream into the Olia jar.

Then, add the colourant cream into the Olia jar.

Close the lid on the applicator bottle and shake it to obtain a completely even mixture. Once you’re happy with the consistency, break off the tip of the Olia applicator bottle immediately to avoid the bottle bursting and damage from the product overflowing.

Step 2: Olia application

Keep your gloves on and use the applicator bottle to apply your Olia colour to dry, unwashed hair. If you have many greys ensure that you start from the front and continue from the roots using the bottle to separate hair section by section. Otherwise, apply the product from the roots, section by section..

Finally, massage the product well into the hair to ensure that the colourant is evenly spread.

Leave the Olia dye to develop for the time indicated on the instruction leaflet.

Step 3: Rinsing your Olia dye

Remember to keep your gloves on as you rinse the Olia colour from your hair. Before you do so, give your hair another massage to emulsify the colourant and make rinsing easier.

Then add a small amount of water to your hair and massage again.

Now you’re ready to rinse thorughly until the water runs clear. Pay particular attention to your hairline and behind your ears.

Step 4: Condition your hair

You may now remove the gloves and apply the conditioner that came in your Olia packet. Apply a hazelnut amount of the Silk & Shine multi-action conditioner (tube 3) and leave it on for 2 minutes before rinsing thoroughly.

Keep your Silk & Shine multi-application and conditioner to use with future shampoos!
