How to find your perfect shade for you:

 Have you ever wondered what the hair colour numbers mean? The first number of a Hair Colour is how Light or Dark the hair dye will be, for example shades range from 1 - black to 10.1 – ice blonde, to D3+, our hair bleaches, with everything inbetween. The second number is the reflect which can be Natural (.0), Warm (.3, .4, .5, .6) or Cool (.1, .2). For example, 4.0 is a Natural Dark Brown, 4.3 is a Golden Dark Brown, and 5.21 is an intense Lilac. Always check the back of pack to see if it is the right shade for you.

How to dye your hair at home with Garnier Nutrisse Permanent Hair Dye:

Always do a patch test 48 hours in advance of using any home hair dye products.

Please always refer to the product for full safety instructions. Top tips for home hair dye: Use an old towel as permanent hair dye may stain it. Apply moisturising cream to your hairline to avoid staining from the permanent hair dye. Hair Dye can only lighten your natural hair colour 1 to 2 levels – check the back of pack to see if it is the right hair colour shade for you. If you have long or thick hair, use two hair dye boxes.

Steps:

1. Start by putting on gloves and instantly mix the colour cream into the developer cream bottle. Shake well to mix.

2. Apply the mix in sections, starting with your roots and working through to the ends

3. Leave to develop for 25-35 mins, as stated on the instructions, depending on the result you wish to achieve.

4. Rinse until the water runs clear and apply the nourishing conditioner and rinse again.

TEMPORARY “BLACK HENNA” TATTOOS MAY INCREASE YOUR RISK OF ALLERGY.

Do not colour your hair if:

• you have a rash on your face or sensitive, irritated and damaged scalp

• you have ever experienced any reaction after colouring your hair

• you have experienced a reaction to a temporary “black henna” tattoo in the past



IGNORING AN ALLERGY CAN BE LIFE-THREATENING.

You must conduct an ALLERGY ALERT TEST 48 hours before each time you colour even if you have already used colouring products before.

So remember to buy the product 48 hours in advance. (Read and follow the instruction leaflet).

In case of any reaction or when in doubt consult a doctor before using any hair colour product.

“Developer” contains hydrogen peroxide

“Hair colourant”contains: phenylenediamines, phenylenediamines (toluenediamines), resorcinol, ammonia

• Wear the gloves supplied in the box.

• Avoid contact with eyes. Do not use to dye eyelashes or eyebrows.

• Rinse the eyes immediately and thoroughly if the product comes into contact with them.

• Rinse hair well after application.



Wait at least 2 weeks after using a relaxer, a perm or a straightening process on the hair. c

Do not use if your hair has been coloured with henna or with a progressive hair colourant

Keep out of reach of children.
