know that L’Oréal tests its products on animals.."

L'Oréal does not test any of its products on animals and has been at the forefront of alternative methods
for over 30 years.

"Question 2: You sell your products in China, so you cannot
say that you do not test your products on animals."

In China, the health authorities still require and carry out animal testing for some products. L’Oréal is the most active company working with the Chinese authorities towards a total elimination of animal testing. As a result, the vast majority of products L’Oréal sells in China is no longer tested on animals. Garnier is in China with a few Ultimate Blends products only. And these products are part of the nonfunctional products category, which is no longer subject to animal testing since 2014.
