Used this product and developed itchy skin,never associated it with the cream but then skin came out in itchy burning rash which is unbearable. Going to the Dr on tues discontinued using it over a week ago. Have read tons of same reactions to this cream and I warn everyone to be wary

Why change the formula!? It’s terrible

Have been using this for years and loved it, but the recent bottle I just spent £12 on is crap! Have Garnier changed the formula?? I always buy the darker tint. It used to give me a lovely tan but this bottle is terrible, I have used it everyday for a week and barely notice the difference. I even tested it by not washing my hands after the latest application and my hands haven’t got any tan either so this is basically just a really expensive moisturiser with no tanning properties whatsoever! I will not be buying again, very disappointed

Never had such a bad experience with a product

I have been fake tanning for over 20 years and used Garnier 1 hour tan that seems to sadly be discontinued! I thought I couldn’t go wrong with this product however sadly it’s terrible I have tried several different times and doing smaller areas but you always end up with patches everywhere. I really do not recommend wasting money or time as I have to scrub to remove before I can go out looks so obvious and patchy! I wouldn’t normally write a bad review this deserves it!!!

  • Looks like this all over my body and I made sure to cover every area

Love Garnier Summer Tan lotion as it not only hydrates but promotes a healthy summer glow, had many compliments. Unlike so many of it's competitors, it doesn't leave a strong overbearing smell.

Lots of questions.

I've bought this and have not used any kind of fake tan products before. I've read the bottle which explains how to apply it and a couple of warnings about staining but that's it. It literally says "Avoid fabric" but what's that supposed to mean? Walk around naked the whole time? Not get dressed until it dries is what it probably means but even then is it going to rub off onto my clothing? Does it stain the skin well or is it all going to wash off as soon as I shower? Will it come off while swimming in the sea or pool? So many questions but no answers. Not sure wether to return it to be honest as I don't know what to expect.
