    Mixed feelings

    I have mixed feelings about this product. The positive's: it doesn't leave a greasy, sticky film on the skin like others do. (Even the ones that say non greasy are greasy! This one genuinely isn't). It quickly absorbs in to the skin. It is fragrance free. It is a high factor & protects against all harmful sun rays. The negative's: despite what it says, it does not work under make-up. On applying consealer on top of this, I found it congealed & separated causing pilling. I even applied by patting the consealer on rather than rubbing it in, but it still separated. The more I tried to blend it, the more it separated. I ended up having to remove both & just apply the fluid & no make-up as it was a hot day & I needed the high factor. On washing my face in the evening, the skin felt tight as though the fluid had dried it out. I don't get that from using other face suncream. It is super expensive for the small size of the bottle. The neutral-I haven't been using it long enough to say if it made a difference to my dark spots.

    Non greasy and very effective.

    I use this every day, whether it’s sunny or dull. Not at all oily or greasy and it disappears with no trace but works a treat!

    Fooled by good reviews

    I was completely fooled by the good reviews for this product. While it’s a lightweight formula, it wears horribly under makeup and causes it to pil any products going on top, but it also pils on my skin regardless of anything going on top. Regret purchasing this

    I threw it away after 2 days

    I bought this 2 weeks ago for a short holiday in the sun. As one of the other reviews says - on first use it felt fine but at the end of the day and a couple more applications when I washed my face that night I thought I had sunburn. I couldn't understand it as it’s SPF 50. My eyes puffed up overnight and my skin felt sensitive and I had a red blotchy rash all over my face. When I applied it the next day the cream stung my face and was very uncomfortable. I washed it off and applied an SPF 50 from another brand. This did not sting and I kept my face out of the sun for the day. The rash receded but my eyes are still puffed up 4 days later. I definitely had an allergic reaction to this cream. My skin is not particularly sensitive normally and so it took me by surprise. My eyes look awful. I would not recommend this product. I threw it away on day two of my holiday. I am flying home looking like I am in need of a holiday rather having just been on one!

    My new facial SPF, loved it

    Previously always used La Roche-Posay Anthelios 50+ for face but had recently developed a large pigmented area on my cheekbone, so decided to try something new. I'm now a convert to Garnier Ambre Solaire Super UV Vit C Facial 50+. I used it on holiday in Turkey and it offered great sun protection, my face very very gradually turned a healthier shade but remained lighter than the rest of my body (which has never happened before but shows the level of protection). The existing pigmentation seemed less noticeable and I didn't get any additional pigmentation issues. Already bought 2 more bottles - took advantage of an offer at Boots.

    Great on older skin little bit runny but the best.

    Could not do without this great little bottle. I apply this everyday with my skin routine whether summer or winter. It is factor 50 and it’s great knowing I have protection from the uv rays. Perfect for my older skin and contains niacinamide
