What is the difference between a chemical and physical exfoliator?

Both chemical and physical exfoliants remove dead skin cells leaving skin smoother and refreshed. Chemical exfoliants use active ingredients such as PHA’s or Glycolic Acid to boost skin surface cell renewal and help improve uneven skin texture/ tone and minimise pores, while physical exfoliants often contain abrasive small particles that work by scrubbing away dead skin cells.

What makes it so gentle on skin?

Think of PHA as AHA's little/gentler sister - it is a larger molecule, which makes it slower to penetrate the skin, this ultimately makes the exfoliating effect gentler.

HOW TO USE: Simply apply the product to a cotton or eco pad and wipe the face, eyes, and lips. No rinsing required. Avoid sun exposure; apply an SPF > 30 in the morning after use. In case of irritation, space out application, and in case of persistent irritation, stop using the product.

No specific precautions for use are required for this product under normal or reasonably foreseeable conditions of use.
