We all love to spend time in the sun, but we don’t always protect our skin properly from UV damage. Both on holiday and in the UK, we can forget to reapply or use protection at all, as we underestimate the power of UV rays

That’s why we have launched our new FREE sun safe UV patch! It sticks to your skin and changes colours throughout the day to indicate your level of UV exposure, so you know when to reapply sun protection.

How does it work?

The UV patch measures both UVA and UVB rays, and can be used in combination with sun cream, which can be applied directly over the patch. It can be used in water, indoors or outdoors, but is for one day use only. It’s suitable for very sensitive skin, children and adults.

How do you use it?

  1. 1. Remove the plastic protective sheet.
  2. 2.Put the side with the yellow surface on your skin.
  3. 3.Apply plenty of water on the backside.
  4. 4.Apply pressure for 30 seconds.
  5. 5.Remove the paper backing and allow to dry.

Although the patch has been developed to help monitor sun exposure, it does not prevent sun damage, so please remember to always protect your skin with sun cream, reapplying frequently and generously!

Tips To Stay Safe In The Sun

Keeping your UV sun patch in the safe yellow-zone is easier than you'd think – follow our simple tips below!

Seek shade or cover up between 11am and 3pm when the sun is at its strongest.

Spray

Don't forget to reapply sun cream regularly, especially after swimming or towelling!

Sun

Sun cream doesn't provide 100% protection, so don't spend too long in the sun at one time.
