Rated 2 out of 5 by from Less messy but disappointing colour and greasy I've been dying my hair at home for years so was very interested when I saw the advert for this product. The application has good and bad points. The developer creme tube is quite tough so it's an effort to get all the product out. Application is less messy than normal hair dyes as it is a thick cream, however because of this is was more difficult to spread through the hair, particularly the ends (my hair is fairly long). It didn't feel it was soaking into the hair as a usual hair dye would. The smell and wash-out were fine, which I did til the water went clear and my hair felt 'clean'. The conditioner was nowhere near as good as the one you get with Nice n Easy, that leaves my hair lovely and soft but this one left my ends dry and I needed a lot more to spread through all my hair. I left my hair to dry and when it did it was so greasy, horrible! I had to use dry shampoo to soak it up! As for the colour, it doesn't even look like I've dyed my hair, my roots look exactly the same. The few greys I have are slightly darker but they certainly won't be darker for long (based on previous experience). I'll definitely be going back to Nice n Easy, sorry Garnier :(

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Average product - bit disapointing I was expecting something really good from this product as the advertising makes it sound really different and interesting but am afraid I wasn't 'wowed'. The instructions are easy enough to follow but the cream product means that it is quite hard to distribute through your hair, mine is not even shoulder length and I found it quite hard to get good coverage. The gloves are a bit thick too but then they are always clumsy to use. I found that I did get good coverage however and good colour, I only have a little grey at the front and it was un-noticable after the colour which was pleasing. I usually find that these types of products have amazing conditioning products in them but this one wasn't so great, I was glad to get some of my normal conditioner on my hair the next day. All in all this product is not as good as some others out there so I wouldn't chose to use it again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No, no.....NO. I usually use John Frieda or Perfect 10, which are pretty good, (especially Frieda, the foam is fab, the colour is great and you get a lot of it to use to make sure you are all covered.) But this. This is a joke. After a few drops of this on a 3rd of my hair, I realised I was low on the colourant. There was not enough. I only have thin hair that goes just past my shoulders. I had to resort to opening up the bottle and swiping some of it out with my fingers. The gloves were annoying, they were too thick and big, so I could not tell if I was covering my hair properly. The bottle was also annoying, because a few times the colourant just squirted out across the room, the bottle was too smooth and so with the gloves, I found it too slippery to hold. The idea of placing the bottle into the box, like they ask you to, was stupid and pointless, because it dropped all the way through the hole. Most colourants just have you drop the colourant into the liquid, not both liquid and colourant into one new bottle. Waste of materials. The texture of the colourant made my hair feel greasy and tangled up. I found it hard to massage the mixture onto my roots and hard to smooth it over my hair from root to tip. It was a horrible feeling. Not happy with this at all. The worst £7 I have ever spent.
