When I reached 50...

I noticed my skin ageing more rapidly. Telltale signs were: a crepey effect under the eyes, wrinkles appeared deeper and my facial contours were less defined, especially around the jaw line. I noticed my skin tone was less even and age spots were appearing. My skin became so much drier.

When I'm choosing skincare...

I look for products that help my skin feel supple and hydrated, toned and lifted and which leave my skin with a smooth surface texture. I look for products that make my skin look brighter and wrinkles look less pronounced. I also trust products that have been tried and tested on women and which are sourced with natural ingredients.

Why I'm the face of Vital Restore...

In being chosen to be the face I hope to show women my age that anyone can look good if they use a good skin care product. And it doesn't have to cost the earth! It's not just the supermodels that can have great skin; we mere mortals can too with the help of this great new range. Vital Restore is fantastic, you will notice a difference in your skin. The key to being happy at 50...

Find something to be passionate about! Get out of your comfort zone and try something different, get a new hobby, such as dancing... modern jive did it for me but equally you could try salsa, flamenco, ballroom, Latin American, Cuban or even street! You have to re invent yourself a little, re-discover the fabulous human being you are. For me, being 50 is all about feeling re-energised and feeling you can reach your potential. To do this you HAVE to break out of your usual routine and try something different...

Why I like Garnier...

Being involved with Garnier has been a fantastic experience. Everyone is so friendly and positive; they clearly love what they are doing and believe in their product, very inspiring. I met with the women chosen to represent the face of Vital Restore around Europe and they were all fabulous - everyone so positive about life! I think we represented a very positive glowing, vibrant image of women at 50 and beyond which is what Garnier Vital Restore is all about.
